What route do you take to and from work? Perhaps I can meet you somewhere and stay at a B&B near you! I would love to meet you and Ian if possible during the month I'll be trying to get around the UK. I'm not renting a car due to a bit of a flare up of my PTSD. After the tour of the Peaks yesterday, @Bazza was a bit miffed at the state of Zelda. He said it's the dirtiest she's ever been. Sounds like a challenge for next time

Its a Range Rover Evoque convertible. First one i've seen Mucky . Seen one yesterday outside a posh shop in Harrogate, its normal habitat.
Its time we brought in planning permission for cars, to stop monstrosities like this being allowed to blight our roads.
I think it’s great (if it has supercharged V6 or V8 in it but it think it’s four pot only..).
It’s the only thing I’d take on one of Mints cruises!!

95% of Qashqai are 2 wheel drive. We spoke to Nissan when we were sourcing a 4x4 one for my father in law.
My local Indy is attached to a Qashqai seller so see lots of them. They have gearbox issues - think he said lay-shaft bearings failing.
Don't know about that Ian. His is an Auto and hasn't had any issues.
I had a 1998 Mk 2 Nissan Primera made before the Renault tie up. 119k miles, lovely comfortable driver, no trouble, dream gearbox, handling etc Fabulous car. I've just traded it in for cashback on a new Kia. The sales guy just couldn't how good it was. My son was a Nissan tech then, he had a 'Jelly mold' Micra which covered 230k miles. He said after the tie up with Renault Nissan was never the same.That's what you get with a Renault

To be fair my father in law has had his 2007 plate since 2009 and he's never had a days trouble with it. It's a 2.0 petrol Auto done 55000 so I suppose time will tell. He'll not sell it until it gives him major trouble. He had his Astra before that for 17 years.That's what you get with a Renault
