We used to call them bellmouths in the old Amal carb days. I do not think thats what these are though because we used to run then without an air filter.

Air intakes For Individual throttle bodies

They are the longest that I can fit inside the plenum. Tuned length for around 7400rpm. Ideally, I'd want 6500rpm, but that would be around 630mm from the valve. The current trumpet length from the valve is 425mm.

I'm just hoping that the loss of flowrate caused by the bend will be over compensated by the increased pressure generated by the wave.

I've added some test points to see the results.
