What size wheels

Hi all
Can anybody help I’m looking at buying at set of style 18 wheels they are 17” staggered 8j and 9j the fronts are fitted with 225/45/17 the rear are fitted with 245/40/17, the car I want to put them on is a 98 pre face lift 1.9 m44,does anybody run a similar set up or would it be a no go.

Do you know the offset Mark ? There are sites on the net that tell you the parameters of offset, although sometimes spacers will work to solve problems.

Hi Ken no I don’t know the off set I’ll have a search up, don’t recon spacers are an option as it’s a narrow body car I think the style 18s were std on the sport face lift car might be wrong tho.

It's not the18 inch diameter, that's fine. It's the width. As you say, with the wide body (2.8) or a facelift car the width is no problem.
