I have to put new springs in the 1.9 I bought recently for my other half's son. 1 spring is broken so I guess best to do as a pair? I only want standard springs but they need to be OE quality.

What budget makes of rear springs are recommended?
I have a pair of 2.8 springs. Will they do the job or be too stiff/low compared to a 1.9?
Is it worth replacing anything else when I'm in there, seating pads etc?
I also have the rear shicks from a 2.8. Are they sensible to put on or not really suited to a 1.9?
