Ours is bound to be there.....it was at least 25 years ago when we had it.

Likewise my friends one Gail. Boy it was fun to drive though, much more so than the GT TT Turbo Rhino5.

My first car was a mini cooper replica, sadly, like everyone who has a mini as their first car, I wrote it off by rolling it on a country road near Ashbourne!

My current day to day is a little nicer though!

A varied sample..... I don't do boring (well ok I have a merc but the KERS hybrid tech is amazing fun and the Rangy is not a diesel ! ) .

KERS/Hybrid tech you say.......I worked at Mercedes AMG HPP for 8 years (left in May to work at Force India) and worked on the first KERS system in '09 on the Mclaren, and then from 2011 onwards with Mercedes Factory team, and then in 2014 with FIF1 with the hybrid V6.

Mine was a little 850 mini in black it too met its demise in Derby on a country lane , came face to face with a cow at speed as it wandered about at half 9 one dark night!!!
Coppers thought it amusing as i had bull bars fitted to it passing comments like....... Why did you not ask it to mmmoooooooowwww over!!
Was an experience was like hitting a brick wall .....

My wife hated it and would not drive it, she said it was "a pimps car" but seeing as she never bought any money in, she got that one wrong......
My boss would not let me visit customers with it so gave me a piece of French crap company car.
This was the only car I ever made any money on when I sold it.

Great looking car Mike, I used to have the 300ce which I had to sell when I was made redundant. I kept and still love my 230ce though.
As you have said, it would be a hell of a job to choose between my Merc and my Zed



I like your wheels on your car though I've decided to keep mine as standard.

I remember racing an old XJS up a hill on a dual carriageway in the UK when I was over on holiday and the driver of the Jag gave up on it............
