What oil are you using in your 1.9L?

I look in the manual and it lists 5w30 and a bunch I don't recognize being a driver of American cars all my life. Are you folks using a 5w30 synthetic or a 10w60 or something like that?

I've been using 5/40 shell helix fully synthetic in my two M44 engines over the past 3 years and both seem to run a treat and always buy when ECP have a sale code which is every 5 minutes.
But on my fathers car which is an M43 I put a cheap 5/30 synthetic in it and again it's not had any problems but all the cars do get regular oil changes.
