I have just ordered what BMW quaintly describe as a side panel. left side. The auto electrician has arrived to fit ABS item and sort mirror, just a switch. I cleaned and repaired the under body front panel on Friday. I hope to have project completed within two weeks to MOT standard, after six years.

Bought fuel filter two years ago. Decided to fit it.

Decided to replace these at the same time.

Yesterday. Sunday. Halfords were open.

£3.90 for a.metre. Bargain. Unless it bursts and leaves a trail of petrol down the road.

Yep as I thought, snake oil! no better than the hot power washer and a bucket of cheapo car shampoo. (its just an opinion )

Cool..I like stuff like that Date on the disc was the date the tax would have expired

Ah memories, when I was going through the shiny chrome phase I had an alloy tax disc holder…it was a right faff to change the disc.

Interesting. Please DM me your issues. I’ve tackled about 5 stone chips so far, biggest problem I’ve had is seeing them again after step #1. I’m contemplating tackling a larger problem area, colour match for me is 100%.

When using that kit for deeper chips I had better results by leaving the blobs of paint proud of the surface and leave for about a week to cure, then wet sand off with these tiny sanding discs with a holder and then buff off. I found the kit as it’s ment to be used ok for tiny chips and blending in scratches.
