Might be a stupid question, but why does it go from Z1 to Z3? Where is the Z2?

I believe BMW still own the rights to the name but haven't used it as yet.
I think it's an opportunity for BMW to get back into the small Roadster sector, let's hope so.
Hopefully they will make something like the Z3 but I doubt it.
Seeing the new Z4, BMW have royally fooked up there!!!
It's far to big and has no stunning shapes or lines and looks like a copycat car (Fiat spider)

I did have an image of a new zed soft top but I've lost it since I had my phone nicked. Could possibly become the zed 2?

That artist impression looks like a Vauxhall Astra convertible. I was hoping it would look like a sports car
Why no Z2 ? It's obvious, who wants a car with a number two on it ? They take some cleaning off when dry.
