My Z has paint pots for company. It's not a brilliant garage as it's single brick but at least it's dry and dark.
I had a scare last year when the garage was broken into. Fortunately it was a gang looking for cycles so the Z was untouched , but by heck it was a close call.

That sounds too close for comfort!! I would armour-plate the door, fit loads of CCTV cameras and dig a moat around it if I were you.

The doors were plywood , they are now in 1 1/2" box with a 2mm galvanized steel covering. I have trouble uploading photos but I sleep easy now

Nice bike. Just a word of caution though, could I suggest a visual aid over the ignition barrel to remind her or yourself to remove the disc lock before moving the bike. Too many folk have done damage or worse still injured themselves by trying to ride off with the lock in place.
Sorry if I am teaching my granny to suck eggs.

My Z still sleeps in a barn I rent from a farmer outside town, waiting to move into the new garage...so for now its mate is a beautiful and sweet shepherd dog that comes to greet me every time I visit my ride...next time I'll take a picture.

no that's a very good point. I was hoping that because she uses a chain as well that she would remember both. it beeps when you move the bike as it is an alarm also.
But a reminder would be good too
