Ouch! Do look light so should buff out Shelly. Try to be more careful and not park near cats!

Where abouts on the car is that Shelly?

Tony.

Think its bottom of the door and the sill Tony

That's the first time this has happened :p
Since we moved 5 years ago :)
I did see a black and white cat out the front this morning :(

Hopefully polish out, fingers crossed.

If I see that cat again I'm going to set my tortoise on it =))

Try just a gentle polish first, does not look too deep. Ha Ha Turtle wax it first before you try anything too drastic.
Then buy a 22

Looks like it was jumping up but kept slipping, they tend to do that and sit on the bonnet for the heat off the engine. Hope you get it polished out ok.

Hope it comes out too :p

We had a human problem down our street, paperboy used to lean his push bike up against the parked cars when doing his early morning delivery. That cost the shop owner in insurance claims.
My car was parked off the road, the then wife's was not, should have seen the state of the side of her black 3 series.

I’ve got two cats, I can’t see a cat doing that! They like their claws to sink in stuff like wood etc because it not only sharpens the claws but removes old material which has died from the claws. A cat would very quickly know the side of a car can’t do that because it doesn’t sink in!
However my son had his car clawed like that by a fox! A fox would slip a lot more in attempting to get on the roof! His fox would make use of the soft top as a bed and it was really difficult to stop this fox doing it!

BTW a cat is very agile, it would have no problem jumping onto the bonnet in one leap!

That looks like far too many scratches for a cat. More like someone has placed something on the bonnet and it has slid or been dragged off.
Hope it polishes out for you.
