In side the car , the gear leaver feels quite sloppy.. Quite a bit movement when going to change gears... Is there any bushes that could be replaced?? I have had a look and the gear selector on top of the box looks like a pain to get at...

I was really dying to say "it's the nut behind the wheel that's slack" you lined yourself up perfectly for it lol

but as we don't know each other I didn't want to cause offence lol

mine went like that & they found a spring had poped out of the side of the gearbox [accessed from under the car] i was also loosing a small amount of gearbox oil out through the hole.
 
Thanks for the info.. Looks like the same problem as mine.. I will have a look at the box thanks
 
Does the gear knob sit to the right ? I did this shift pin job last year.
