My M Series 1998 Dakar Yellow Z3 had fittings for a hard top. I have sourced a hard top of the same period and cannot decide if I should have it sprayed black (rubber inserts will blend in) to look like the soft top or Dakar Yellow (rubber inserts will show as black strips but that looks cool also) to give the car a different image for 6 months of the year?

Even though the Dakkar HT looks good, there is something about a contrasting HT...

Poll has closed and Dakar it is. I have emailed the paint shop to book the car in for the winter hard top spray and small touch ups.

In conclusion I think there is no right or wrong answer, but at 30 v 6 votes the Dakar has it.
