What clay bar ???

Glaze you can use Poor boys black hole or Prima Amigo both have fillers in them for very light imperfections but you must put a wax or sealant of your choice over the top otherwise wasting your time using it.

Cheers Cliff.

Black hole is amazing on dark cars!

PB Black hole is certainly good on darker colours which are more prone to show imperfections.
Why not use PB White Diamond Glaze on lighter colours if one so wishes.
Cheers
Cliff.

I was going to recommend the 'Pink Flamingo', but then I realised that you said Clay Bar! =))

If you need to glaze which I haven't I would go with PB Black hole or Prima Amigo.
As Tracy's cars left outside and used all weathers its got Carlack 68 With Collinite wax over to give a full years protection.
I can always go over with Dodo Orange crush to give it a warm refreshing shine.
Cheers Cliff.

Does that come in English? :writing::bookworm: Any suggestions on products welcome - I hate polishing the car but love a really good shine

It did confuse me too Lee.:)

Tony.

Black hole as has already been mentioned, there's also Autoglym super resin, autofinesse ultra glaze, raceglaze pre wax cleaner & blackfire gloss enhancing polish.

None offer much protection on their own and need to be topped with a dedicated sealant or wax to effectively lock in the filling properties and give you the protection element.

Oh my goodness. I though I knew what to do with my blue Z but now I have Ruby Black it's a new learning curve

@Summit Detailing, Chris, what is your opinion on this product? 3M™ Paint Defender Spray Film.

Not something I've experienced first hand but I would imagine it to be possibly inferior to the proper PPF's that are fitted by the likes of Topaz and Paintshield.
Lots of questions, the first one that sprung to mind - I wonder how even the finish is in real life?
Given the nature of the product I very much doubt it is invisible, given that the very best films from Suntek and Xpel can be seen on most colours of car.

cheers
Chris

same here never used a clay bar before so while I was at the shop n shine event last weekend I asked them for some info on the matter.
The young chap told me there are 3 grades, smooth, medium and course. He recommended the medium one.
He said to wash the car then use the clay bar on one panel at a time keeping the clay wet with a spray of water or your usual car wash mixture. Then pollish followed by a sealer.
I bought a Bilt Hamber clay bar as was cheaper the the alternative but he said they're all pretty much the same.
Not had time to use it yet though .

Steve
I have used the Bilt Hamber one for a few years and it gives good results. You can just use tap water as a lube too.

That's good to know @Jamezee  thank you :).
I was told the same that you can just use tap water to keep it lubed.
Not got round to using it yet, planning to try it out on the wife's car 1st as it is in desperate need of some TLC.
