Hi everyone,
Having the pretensioner light problem and found nothing to plug pretensioner into on passanger car side wiring. Drivers side has White connector (power) and black connector (heated seat) and yellow for pretensioner, all working fine. Passenger side has the white and black (all working) but then also has small pink and small white connector that don't having anything on the seat to connect to? Pink connector has 2 blue wires (one with a brown trace and one with a pink trace), white connector has 3 wires (brown/orange, white/red and blue/pink). It also has wide yellow connector under seat carpet with 2 wire (white and brown.) I just need to identify which wires would be for the pretensioner?? Have attached pics of driver side and passenger side and the male pretensioner plug from seat. Any help greatly appreciated as MOT fail now due to air bag light aebcause of this!!
I am not totally sure but I think this may solve one issue. Look at the underside of the seat and you'll see the "seat occupancy sensor" which is shown in the photo. This needs to be connected in order for the seatbelt tensioner to fire and passenger side airbag (if equipped) to go off in event of an accident. The airbag indicator light will light up on your instrument panel if this is not connected when the battery is connected. The driver's side doesn't have the occupancy sensor the car assumes there is a driver in the car if there is an accident. This image shows it disconnected I think the small white plug inserts where the arrow is

No idea about the pink one.

yeah the seats that came with car were some very tired and worn red leather ones. Passenger side wasn't even bolted down at the back, only had one motor for forward and back and wiring was a mess. The new seats are great and the main power and heated seat plugs match up fine on both sides.

thanks Nodzed, that really helps. Looks like i am missing that black box occupancy sensor but can see a plug on seat that would fit it. Had a quick look and £25 on ebay so will get one asap. That would seem to leave the pink one as the pretensioner as there is nothing else it could be i guess.

Managed to get a pretensioner repair kit online. Installed the seat occupancy sensor, spliced the repair kit wiring with the car side pretensioner wiring and reconnected battery. Nothing went bang, popped it up the garage for a code reset and all is good, no more air bag light. The beauty is back on the road.........happy days!!
Thanks for everyones advice.
