This was recorded on my dash cam this morning a mile from work. Approaching the Carholme roundabout from the A57 there are 2 lanes. A clearly marked sign post shows, left lane for turning left and going straight on. The right lane is for turning right onto the A46 Lincoln by-pass ONLY!
A pick-up truck ignore this and goes straight on from the right turn lane (Knob) but then as I reach the roundabout line, a sixth sense stops me from giving it a boot full off the line. At 2 minutes in you'll see why, an Audi A3 comes out of the right turn lane and cuts straight across me to turn right up the A46 N, that was a good thing. Don't have volume too high .:oops:

p*** off.lo =))l In my defence I was rather surprised , although I have seen this manoeuvre carried out at this junction several times.

1. You can see what speed you are doing on the heads up display ( bottom right):cool:
2. The camera makes the blue mercedes A class led brake lights appear to be flashing
3. The white mini needs the head off for some new valve stem oil seals

Can't view the vid but just got two cameras in the mail. Hope I don't get anything too exciting to post but drivers everywhere are the same so expect a little foul language will transpire!! Glad you're safe! JIM
 
Thanks Jim, I can't explain why, but something just stopped me from booting my car off the line for whatever reason and you saw what happened. Would've been our Carla's 27th birthday this week mate, maybe, just maybe she was watching over me?

Getting worse the driving standards here... And I've spent a good amount of time diving in Asia so I know what poor driving is..couple of weeks ago a teenage tosser in a Nissan micra overtook me in a 40 zone and sprayed gravel up the side of my car... If I had not come to my senses I would have dragged him out of his farty little Japanese box and slapped him hard.. That's when you wouldn't want a dash cam. :mad:
 
Went over this section of road yesterday and the lane markings just ask for it to happen. It didn't happen to me but after watching Tonys clip you can see why it does. I would have blood pressure every day if that was my commute!
 
My brother works in Saudi and has sent me the odd video, 4 lane intersection made into 6 or 8 lanes and the guy on the far right is turning left lol Crazy
