As I seem to keep getting lost when I'm out in the Zed (to used to the sat-nag in the daily driver) I went out and bought a Tom Tom from Halfords. The very nice lady on the pay desk said " I'll reserve that in store for you then you can have it for the internet price" £20 cheaper!!
 
Had the same a few years ago in a DIY store shopping with the wife, some deal going on with Makita kit, had a cart full.
Lady behind the counter said to me, you pay for half of it and let your wife pay for the other half and you will get double discount.
Nice one....

I did apparently it goes towards their bonus, so very happy to give her some good feedback :thumbsup:
 
Maybe she felt sorry for you when she heard you couldn't catch a Yaris...:)!
