Today Easter Bank Holiday Monday, we decided to as a family, to take our two dogs for a walk along the disused Meon Valley railway line which is now a country trail. The trail was fairly busy with quite a few walkers, cyclists and horse riders. We decided to walk for a couple of hours on an out and back route.
We had nearly completed our walk when Maxine discovered that she no longer had her mobile phone. I had held the phone for her for a short while and I was getting the blame for losing it, but I knew I had given it back to her.
We tried phoning but there was no service on her phone. My son Adam set off to retrace our route in an effort to find the phone. After a while Adam called his wife to say he had got through to someone who had found the phone and they were 8 minutes from his location. He was going to collect it and meet us back at our car.
After a very short time Adam arrived, he was a passenger in a very nice blue Z3 2.8.
It turns out that the person who found the phone was a zroadster.org member who I didn’t know and hadn’t met before rmoconnor41. What are the chances of that happening? A real coincidence. Thanks for finding the phone Richard.
