Or you could by a cheap 2.8, drive it around a race track until it blows up/melts, break/sell what is left for parts, and still spend less money than the cheapest tickets.

Well all I cam say to that is anyone who is stupid enough to pay that kind of money either has too much throw away cash or they need their head examined.

He’s only a fool if he really can’t afford it. That amount of money on a credit card is really nothing even to the less well off football supporter.
Being a football fanatic or a petrol head and spending on your favourite pastime are much the same. The only reason we knock them for doing it is we wouldn’t ourselves, but shoes on the other foot when it comes to money spent on motors.
Ill watch the game and hope we win just for the sake of the ones that paid the asking price, thinking could easy buy a duff motor and loose just as much. (Just hope the lazer supporter didn’t get a ticket at any price.) Say no more.
 
Only difference is Roy we wouldn’t pay that much over the odds to buy a car, would we? Thing with a football match is you don’t even know whether you’re going to get a good game or not.If someone told me they wanted 15 grand for a half tidy 2.8 Z3, I’d go buy an ///M.;)

Yep your not wrong when talking to me Tony but I can’t see any difference, cos most football fans prob think we’re fools for buying something that means absolutely nothing to them even the ”M” badge on the rear. Each to their own Is what I was trying to convey. The difference to me is the difference, thank god we don’t all think the same.
Im pretty sure the wife has thought I’m off my trolly for buying some of the motors I’ve had over the years but then she’s not a petrol head,(or a football supporter for that matter). I can’t criticise football supporters for being just that, “dedicated”.

Yep, you're right mate but no one has vastly inflated the price thinking you would turn it down. Take that young woman who has lost her job for taking a Sicky to go see the Denmark game, if she ends up out of work we're picking up the tab. Sorry but football does nowt for me.

Totally agree does nothing for me work was after some one to do the electrical standby for Cumbria today so not only will I not be watching the football hopefully I will be out earning money
 
Can't disagree with either of you, but Im afraid it's the minority that get the headlines. Been that way since as long as I can remember. Shame the minority make us look so bad. Problem in this country at the moment the minorities seem to have it all their own way. What ever happend to majority rule.??? Gov needs to grow some. Let's just agree to disagree on the behaviour of some and let the ticket touts earn what they can, won't earn much from us that's for sure. BMW are just as bad with there prices but at least they can claim it's their overheads, lmao. Nuff said.
