I brought a Z3 for some fun a couple of years ago and boy did it pay off on this cruise/weekend I had a grin fixed on my face from start to finish this was made possible by Duncan with all the hard work he had put in with help from Gaz and others, well done, we were made to feel very welcome this was our first event and not our last. It was good to be able too put face's to some of the forum names Mr & Mrs Mint, alias Dave & Pauline=)) (he he) Keith & Jan, Hazel, Les & Mrs Les and many more can't remember them all still that's old age I feel sorry for those who could not make it maybe next year? pencil it in you wont be disappointed.;)
On another note Gaz I can't upload photos all I get is the upload file is to large for the server to process? any ideas.

Navigational Scatter Event

It was lovely meeting up with everyone again plus the new members, it was so nice to see you all. The stunning places we visited over the two days, even I had not visited a lot of these in all the years she has lived in Devon.
They were breath taking to say the least, and so memorable. I personally had never been to Tarr Steps, OMG what a fabulous place, a definite must see if you are every in area, and yet very many more places with equally stunning views and points of interest that we visited over the two days.

I would just like to say that Filbert had a ball this weekend showing off his new paint work. Thank you to Steve my navigator for his skills in getting the directions correct from place to place and stopping me from getting lost. It has been known before =))

A big thank you again to Duncan, for organising yet another superb and spectacularly event with such breath taking views.
Even Filbert had to drive through the one of the Ford twice, as he enjoyed it so much. :thankyou:

I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as myself and Filbert.

Just to add our thanks to Duncan for another outstanding weekend. The amount of work he puts into these events is phenomenal and it shows, so :thankyou:

Loads of laughs, banter and of course the driving on excellent roads with superb scenery. It was great to meet up with old friends and meet some new ones and hopefully it won't be too long before we meet again;)

The weather played ball this year so we had the top down for the journey down on Friday, the whole weekend and for the journey home on Monday - fantastic, just the weather these cars were made for:happy:

Great location, company, scenery, weather, food, beer - what more do you want from a weekend?:scorecard:

We're looking forward to next years trip already.

Pics in next post...

Great photos everyone.
Those maps that Mint has posted took me back a few years.
In the late 60's and early 70's the family used to go on holiday in a Ford Anglia to Woolacombe and I think we stayed at Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park, which is still open to this day....
As a kid, I loved Ilfracombe and a few years ago paid a visit to what I remembered as a kid to be a charming old port.
What a let down, to put it politely, half the place had no electricity and it all looked so run down. We did find a pub that was open, using its own generator, and on the plus side, the barman recognized my Dutch rugby shirt. Amazing or what?

Thanks to all for the great pictures and text descriptions. It certainly gives an idea to the rest of us who couldn't be there what a wonderful time you all must have had. I got excited just looking at everything. Frankie

Who is that and what is he holding?
It's a goat, I think it was born the day before if I remember correctly. They had a few of them but the landlord was walking around with it tucked under his arm showing people in the bar.
