No big issue for me on the proviso that the money is well spent and the FA Cup Final always remains at Wembly. The National team could tour England, Old Trafford, St. James' Park, the Emirates, Carlisle (:wideyed:)
 
Might as well sell it off, the England team don’t seem to know what to do on it.:whistle:

You want the National team at Carlisle? That’s being greedy, You already have top teams like Lincoln and Crawley visit.:)
 
They sold out for me when they rebuilt without the Twin Towers. They should have had listed status and been retained with the rest of the area turned over to developers. The new national stadium should have been built nearer to the centre of England using the cash raised and any overspend met by the FA. But of course as we all know the entire universe revolves around London.

My brother (Arsenal fan :wtf:) bought some turf at auction at that time (more money than sense) and planted it in his large back garden, he can't remember now where he planted it .... =))
He also bought some seats, now rotting away in his shed, one born every day as the saying goes.
 
Jaguars have been playing regular home games at Wembley now for a few years and they plan on doing it into the future. I can only imagine it's making him a fortune in merch.

One hand I think selling your national stadium is an embarrassment.
On the other I agree with @Andy McDonnell in that it would be good to play our games on tour, giving a chance to the rest of the country to host and support our nation.
 
Well our trusted leaders sold off our utility companies, our housing stock and opened our borders to any riff raff that care to come across while denying citizenship to Gurkhas and the Windrush generation who actually contribute to British society. They are prepared to allow ISiS terrorists back in and give protection to a burglars shrine after arresting a man for defending his own home. China are building power stations here with a guaranteed return on their money or our government will refund them. Immigrants walk in and receive 5x more in benefits than a pensioner with 50 years contributions receives. Many of our schools have no English speaking pupils, Muslim gangs can groom young girls for years because of the PC brigade while we have sunk to the level of a third world country with thousands sleeping on the streets and many more thousands of families in poverty relying on food banks!!!
Come back Guy Fawkes all is forgiven.
But I do I agree that selling our national stadium is an embarrassment.

Don't get me going, I have been told I have too much to say on immigration and the so called rights of people settling here. PC gone insane.
 
We are on equally sure ground in saying that the Celts of the first immigration, the Gael (akin to the Irish, Highland Scots, and Manx), have preserved their racial identity more or less completely in certain parts of both North and South Wales. The largest section of the Welsh nation, however, are Celts of the British stock, a pure tribe of which stretches in a wide band across Central Wales.

Historically, the English population is descended from several peoples — the earlier Celtic Britons (or Brythons) and the Germanic tribes that settled in Britain following the withdrawal of the Romans, including Angles, Saxons, Jutes and Frisians. in other words: Mongrel's.
