What a day, I'm absolutely cream crackered and have hardly any voice left. The team my son plays for, Stockton Town FC, have just gone on to win their semi final for the FA Vase and now go to Wembley for the final on May 20th.
Its an incredible feat for a team that 3 seasons ago were playing on a school pitch in front of 30/40 spectators, today it was 1800 all ticket sell out. At Wembley on Non League weekend the crowd will be in the region of 30,000 for the Vase and Trophy finals. Its something the lads could only have dreamed about before today.

Hotel is booked already, just have to get our tickets for the final now.

Our grandson is in the cup final tomorrow for the U16s :)

Nice one @petecossie you'll have a great day at Wembley. Our eldest son was a young player at Truro when they went to Wembley for the FA Vase in 2007 against Totton. Truro won 3-1. He didn't make the match day squad though and sat in the stands with most of our village. Great day

Bognor got to a semi final a couple of years ago,but no further. And currently, we are staring at relegation from Vanarama South. But like the Phoenix, we shall rise again!!! =))
 
That will be a memory to treasure. We went a couple of times to the old Wembley for play off finals with The Railwaymen and came away losers once and winners once.
