WELL,

Welcome back Shirl and Tony! Lots to unpack!!! And you can chill in your “pool” back here 😂

Now there’s an idea.=)) I’ve got 2 cars washed now, just mine to do.

Tony.

I have to hold my hands up mate, I had a fair share. All the yellow tools were mine.

Once this little lot gets sorted into " Who's who" all will become clearer.

I’ve had one for a few years Malc, I keep outgrowing it!

Tony.

Up at the crack of 9.45 for breakfast followed by a well needed hair cut.
Ding,Ding. Then, it's round one. 1st application of weed killer on the patio and top of drive.

Then, the serious business. 3 cars to clean.

Interspersed with more weed killer.
Then checking dashcam cards (9) using my new mouse mat and cup mat.

From a time when Johnny Cash had some attitude.

Tony.

Today's first job was a visit to the local P.O. followed by using my trusty 18v Strimmer on the patio,

followed by a quick blow job to get rid of the debris. You lot have dirty minds.
20230617_200319.jpg

Patio furniture out of the Shed tomorrow, which should make it rain.
One of my purchases was this 18v Hybrid fan.
20230617_200434.jpg

This runs on an 18V battery
20230617_200504.jpg

Or, you can run it on mains via a cable plugged into the back.
20230617_200538.jpg

Of course coming from the USA it needs a 220 to 110 converter which are inexpensive, as was the 8ft. cable.
20230617_200652.jpg

The other thing was a 3" spot polisher/sander.
20230617_200914.jpg

Comes with 3" polishing discs/pads and 2" sanding discs/pads.

Tony.

ps. Tomorrow will see the Combined Harvester in action, if it doesn't rain.

Ding, Ding. Round 2.
After a run to the PO and into my old place of work to book the new oil burners first MOT and see who is going to my old Boss's funeral tomorrow. Poor guy contracted MND just over 1 year ago and he was younger than me. Tanvics aren't even closing the branch for half a day, let alone one day. Miserable f***ers, and Mark worked for them over 20 years.
After lunch I attacked the back garden, investigated how much water was in the pit a pumped it out.

You never know there might be a Shed day soon. ;)
Front garden tomorrow when I get home from.the Crem.

Tony.

I’m very sorry to read about your old boss Tony. Quite deplorable that the business hasn’t seen fit to recognise Mark’s commitment to it for over 20 years. Profit before People. I really despair about some people. Thinking about you and your colleagues today and obviously Mark’s family.

Thanks Dawn, I did in fact sell him short. He worked for that shower for 36 years, 26 as branch manager. Anyway he got a good send off bless him.

Tony.

Wholly inappropriate for me to Like your reply Tony and none of the other emojis are relevant so all I can say is: what a company! And God Rest Mark. It’s reassuring to hear the funeral service saw him right.

Couldn't do much today due to the rain (Mark had the last laugh, the bugger =))) but the pit is drying now.

I painted a silver strip on the edge of the right side ramp to aid with backing on.

One more left to put up, forecast good for tomorrow so may get that one put up and the front garden started.

Tony.

Not wall art as such but,

Today saw the front "lawn" get the treatment. Filled up our green bin and our neighbours one too. I have to say it's a big improvement.

Tony.
