Well that's just made my day!

I have never seen @Grumpy p***** or stoned... He is a very upright citizen.. Actually the last time I had a visit to Grumpy towers.. We shared a couple of beers .. even on the Dutch run.. we only had a few.. You two are so bad at slander when the man can not stick up for himself.. Maybe @jue1 needs to get involved too.. Sort you two out.. Sorry for going off topic ...
You have the wrong slant on me. I'm defending the guy!!!!!!!!

Sometimes makes me wonder why we alter them from standard tbh.

Steve
I really didn't want to say anything about this because if I made my feelings known about these wheels, %80 of you would vote me kicked off the forum. It would be a Frankie you've NEVER SEEN on this forum. That's how strongly I feel against them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@FRANKIE you are more than entitled to your opinion mate no probs. @hard top, you know as well I as do I certainly do not get stoned lol and the beer is that occasional Santa will be on overtime by the time you see me pished!
@pgunter, thank you for fighting my corner while I was in bed asleep, not pished or stoned, as we're flying out this morning.
No body has actually come back to say weather I'm likely to get the polished rim finish back which is my main concern??? Just putting things back on topic! :D

I've done that a few times to my wheels but luckily enough the black rims are quite wide so I haven't done much damaged :p

You feel that strong about the standard 16" wheels @FRANKIE ? They're not that bad :wideyed:.

Steve

I'm ok with up to 18" wheels but bigger than that and I think they're hideous. Like Pram wheels.

Tony.

Its either wheels or tyres at the moment. Looks like Gail picked up a £200 clout nail in an almost new rear tyre today. Not completely deflated though at 0.85 bar (about 13psi) when we swapped cars (so I could get hers home while she went on to another meeting).
Being an RFT am expecting that it's not repairable even though it's not been run completely deflated.
Bridgestone say it is possible to repair in some circumstances but I don't expect to find anyone that will do it.
I know most here don't run RFTs but does anyone have experience?

I had a run flat repaired before as long as it is not in the outer 1/4 of the tread and this wasn't at a back street tyre place.

It's right in the centre. I'll try my usual tyre place first thing.
Thanks Brian

No reason not to repair it Ian.

Tony.

Thanks Tony.
You see so much about RFTs not being repairable but it seems to be only if it's actually been run flat, which makes sense.
Hopefully will have dodged a bullet...

Although I run 18's if I changed I would drop to 17's.

I have I have! Updateds tomorrow, off to bed now. We're knackered!

Good to hear you got there safe and sound. It'll all look different in the morning:thumbsup:

Because they look far better mate

Beg to differ, would you run an old MG on 18's? That would look f***ing ridiculous.
Not saying that the Z3 is a classic old timer but its getting close.
But, horses for courses, as the saying goes...
