Well that's just made my day!

Sympathy Dave,:rage:
It really is annoying, when it happens,:(
Sure it can be fixed though;)

Sorry to see this Dave. I've done it as well:mad:, join the club. Sh*t happens:(

Thanks guys. I can live with the fact I've cocked up, expensive mistake, but as I've already said it's the finished repair that worries me, getting the chome effect back isn't easy. :(

Gutted for you mate not what anyone needs but as said it can be repaired...
Thanks mate. Just something else to add to the long lost of things that need doing. :arghh:

horrid feeling when you know you have caught a curb, before i had my wheels painted never came close, then nice shiny wheels and oops after oops

I feel your pain @Grumpy :(.
Was well cheesed off when I curbed my near side rear not long after a return, but in my case it was catch a curb or collide with the range rover coming towards me on the wrong side of the road .
So for me lesson learned......fitted a set of rim blades to help protect them. Not the prettiest things but for £30 if they do the job I'm happy.

Thanks mate. Totally my fault, I can't blame a Range Rover!

Could be worse Dave, poor Roy destroyed one of his last year at Dunham.

Tony.

I know how you feel. We had ours repaired in June, drove all around Europe with no problems. Getting off the train coming back last month and have done both passenger front and rear so now they need doing again in less than 3 months. I am going to try and dremmel the edges and polish them up after fine flat sanding

Hi Dave , had mine all referbed last year worked out at £65 per wheel & that was total strip back to metal & powder coated, so not the end of the world mate.

There are a few Bill done the same going on and off the chunnell. Lee did one of his on the Dutch cruise.
