Know how you feel mate, did the N/S/F Wheel on the 1 series about 3 weeks after i got it.
Dont let it spoil your holiday, it will mend

Happens to us all at one time or another Dave, done mine twice now and am thinking should have got those plastic rim protectors fitted like I wanted but was talked round by my friend the tyre fitter, gonna get em sooner than later in black so they don't stand out too much. Seen em on a Ferrari little while back in yellow and didn't think they suited it but had they been in black would've meant no statement being made but just a thoughtful owner.
Food for thought NO??????
Roy.

Sorry to see that dave really annoying been there done that so you have my sympathy.

So sorry to hear always a real shame but those rim protectors might be the answer to preserve or even hide curbed rims.

Know that feeling, need to collect mine from having that repaired.
As a temp measure you file/sand that down and it'all be much less noticeable until you can repair.
If you have some touch up paint it could come out well.

Shame.
I know what you feel.
Tires with rim protection doesn't help?

You have my sympathy, got my new to me 3 series, 6 days later drove onto the chunnel wi Billz and kerbed em on the ***** train, then day after drove into a car park and did it again and took a chunk out , ffs,
M

What a shame you've damaged one of your lovely wheels Dave it can be repaired.
Enjoy your holiday

If it was a kerb I'm surprised it didn't take chunks out of the "spokes" too.

Tony.

Oops - done that on a few occasions - as @Low Rider says - it can be repaired - the expense will be forgotten about in time.

Thanks for the tip Dino. Worse thing is I've been using it daily for about 4 months now and all been well, it's come off the road today expect for the odd run out till next season now and I do that! I'll get it repaired over winter.

The rim is bang level with the tyre wall Dan so no protection to speak of.

Do you know what you caught it on Dave? That's a shame mate, not that obvious but I bet it shouts out to you!:(

Tony.
Yep a curb mate.. It is a mess actually and it worries me with it being a chrome finish to how good a repair I'll get. Had one done when I first bought it and it's never had as good a finish as the original.
