A letter from WLDC informing us that the to55er who owns the field next door is coming back with another application to build just over the fence, on raised (1.5m) ground a 11/2 storey house) to house a manager for the “holiday” park which is still flooded by many inches of water and hasn’t even started yet.:mad::mad:
Coincidence this coming just before Christmas?, I think not. Hope he and his have a really sh*** Christmas and New Year.:rage:

Tony.

I'm assuming a strongly worded objection will be winging it's way back to the planning department.

Was it rejected or did he withdraw the last application? If it was rejected, what's changed?

He’s had permission refused twice for different reasons now Keith. The new tack is saying it will be for a Manager for the site, and on every page it quotes that this would dramatically reduce vehicle use on visiting the site therefore helping the environment, which although true-ish , it smacks of desperation to us. The far side of the field which he wants to site these Sheperd huts on wheels is mostly under water and has been for several weeks now. Pictures taken today for ammo. Putting in hardcore roads for access to these huts will only exacerbate this situation by preventing even more soak away.

Tony.

Fight the good fight mate. Take some pics of it flooded and write to your local rag.

Why does a manager on site ‘dramatically’ reduce vehicle movements? Are people going to come and go for the sheer hell of it if no manager exits? Makes no sense.

Technology could equally control access and be far cheaper to operate as an alternative. Building for that use isn’t justified.

Bloody hell mate that's crap timing :sour:.
As others suggest, put up a fight again and be as stubborn as them.
It's a ludicrous proposal to build there.

Hopefully it will get refused again Tony

The timing smacks at deliberate @t-tony
Fly in the face of his actions and have a brilliant Christmas.
Sort it afterwards.

Awful news Tony, you'll just have to go through the same process again. Forget about it till after Christmas now then start the fight …..again

I’m sure I saw one of these in that field on the Saturday I visited the zedshed....:whistle::whistle:

Great Crested Newts are protected as an endangered species under European and UK law and it is illegal to capture, kill or deliberately disturb them, their habitat or their eggs.

Anyone know where I can buy some?:)

Tony.
