As the forecast was for rain again I decided not to go for a tootle out in the zed, instead thought I'd spoodle up the zed I bought from Devon last weekend before the rain set in. Guess what, it didn't ! Bright sun at the mo. Anyway beats drinking stella with maltesers ;)
Montreal blue sure does polish up well, makes Topaz look dull as dishwater !!

Lids off too! Was a real bugger getting the hood to latch, had been stowed so long it had shrunk, had to get my neighbour to heave it forward with me in order to get the catches anywhere near the latch bar, even then it was bloomin tight. Corkin condition though which was a bonus.

Montreal is cracking when it's waxed mate as long as the paint is good. Is this one a keeper or is it going?

Yes I know what you mean Adrian,as it forcast rain all day we didn't plan anything so been sat at home all day when we could have been out in the zed !! :meh:.
Your montreal zed is looking good :thumbsup:.
 
No it's going Dave, got too many! Want to keep the 2.2, although high'ish mileage it sounds and drives sooo sweet. Much as I like my 1.9 for many reasons (I'm not selling it) it just lacks that amazing 6 cyl noise. Got complete zed plus one in bits so think that's getting greedy! Bought this Devon one cos of the spec and price so hardtop will move on separately, a few jobs to sort on it before it gets a new home.

Looking good Adrian, dark colour cars always come up well...especially blue...but I may be biased:whistle:
