I know this has probably been done before. But how long do you spend on a normal weekly clean of the Z and what/how do you do yours.
I think this will help people to pick from different options to try and get the best results.
I will start.

I always start off with the Wheels
1. Rinse Wheels
2. Wash Wheels with Micro Fibre Mitt
3. Wash the inner rim with soft bristled brush wrapped in Micro Fibre Mitt
4. Wash Wheels with Micro Fibre Cloth and use my finger tip in the cloth to do all nooks and crannies.
5. Rinse Wheels
6. Dry Wheels with Micro Fibre Cloth
Approx time 1 1/2 hours

The Car
1. Rinse car with Medium Jet
2. Snow Foam Car
3. Rinse Car
4. Wash Car using AG Wash and also using 2 Bucket Method using Micro Fibre Mitt
5. Rinse Car
6. Towel Dry using Micro Fibre Cloths
7. Spray on Demon Shine
8. Towel Dry with Micro Fibre Cloth
9. Use a Micro Fibre Buffing Cloth to wipe any where that got missed when doing stage 8. The Buffing Cloth is a really thick Micro Fibre Cloth and very soft.
10. AG the External Windows
Approx time 2 to 3 hours

I do this every Sunday when it is not raining or when i have got other thing planned even in the Winter

Wow that's what I call a good clean :p
Bet your Z must be sparkling clean ;)
I always wash my wheels last ;)
My Z needs a clean at the moment........ ;)
So if your got a spare few hours

I really wish I could share your enthusiasm for cleaning your car. Mine gets little more than a cat lick every few weeks or so. I do admit that I love the look of my car when I've spent a little time cleaning it but sadly I'm not a Mrs Buckett type owner

I luv cleaning my Z :p
I find it very therapeutic and relaxing ;)
But I can't do it at the moment ;)

With ours being a black car it is terrible to keep clean but when it is you stand back and say god it looks good and thats the feeling i get. I am at the moment waiting for the rain to stop so i can rinse and snow foam her before i towel dry for it to rain again but she will look good in the rain =))

Well in between the showers i have actually managed to get it washed and its weekly protection on

Looking very nice Bill, those wheels certainly suit a dark coloured car no doubt!

Tony.

If you are happy with the results nobody can say you are doing it wrong, although i no longer use a towel to dry my car, instead i use my sidekick blaster because the less you touch the car the less chance of damaging it..IMHO.
