Morning all

Completed a full service on the car this weekend, after years of just taking my cars to the Audi / BMW garages it made a nice change to do it myself.

Replaced the fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, oil oh and whilst i was there thought id do exhaust for good measure :)

Car has only covered 65k but a good service has transformed the way it runs, i suspect it hadn't been done for a while. Also managed to replace the tailgate light seal, rear light cluster seals, both door handles and seals, and the rear roof gasket.

I did discover that the locking wheel nut in the boot wasnt the right one for my locking wheel bolts which was annoying so thats been ordered too

busy weekend in all

:)

Just think of the money you saved yourself and the satisfaction you get from knowing whats been done and it being done right, nothing on these cars is beyound DIY as long as your armed with decent diagnostic kit and a good range of tools to hand.
You will be surprised what an education you get from DIY on your car.
