The monsoon has arrived at Torksey now, not much chance of any top down motoring today.:(

Looks like it's here for the day too.

Tony.

Did Liz send you the invite personally?

The sun's come out now I've finished my job. I've been rain dodging all day. Might get out for a top down drive when I've been fed.

Absolutely hammered it down here for about 4 hours but stopped now. Both sides of the roof have leaked now and puddles on both seats. :(

Amazon do roof covers for £40+ mate as a short term measure.

It's not been too bad here today :p
Very warm and drizzling with rain :)
You can keep the rain up your way @t-tony ;)

Dry and sunny here now
Annoyingly, it's been rain and drizzle all day while I've been loading and unloading the car with all Jamie's stuff. 3 trips (and several soakings) and literally 1/2 ton of stuff moved (several computers, goodness knows how many screens, clothes, desk, assorted furniture, bed, table, tools, the list goes on). All down the narrow steep stairs in a two up two down. In case you were wondering I wasn't using the Zed =))
Got to work out where to put it all now :(
Time for some eyelid inspection

Look on the bright side our water butts have been filled up, nearly had to use the hose!!

After a week off from work in which we have had some lovely weather I haven't driven my Z3.
So this afternoon with work looming I thought lets take the old girl out for a spin.
Headed off for Evesham giving the dual carriageway a miss in favour of the country roads.
Once there I took the road for Pershore as I did it started to rain a little thinking I was heading into the rain I spun round the next island and headed back to Evesham taking the dual carriageway back to Redditch with a heavy right foot enjoying my sounds from both the stereo and my exhaust. Driving into Studley thats when it happened the heavens opened and I notied old bill had turned round to keep me company.
I pulled into a pub car park for the quickest roof up job I've ever done.
Heading home with water dripping from the roof. Not pleased. Once home back out to the old girl for an interior wipe down.

Is that old mans bus you rescued in the car port instead of the Z?

Heavy rain and thunder most of the day in Hertfordshire.
No drives out again so far not been a good year weather-wise for car things.
Cars are permanently dirty as well.

you're only 6 miles from me and it absolutely honked it down here mid afternoon. Gutters overflowing, patio flooded. Could do nothing except drink tea and watch it!
