Today was the first chance Sarah and I got the chance to go out in the new to us Z, nipped into Ashbourne then the back roads over to Higham for lunch, we both really enjoyed it regardless of the weather. Edited to add that it is snow and not rain x

It looked really clean in the Photograph, I'll bet it needed a wash when you got home! Hope you enjoyed your day out!

It's a pretty forgiving colour to be honest, my 5 was carbon black and a nightmare to keep clean but the Z is great, although yes she would look better if I had time.

Now i thought it was snow and then changed my mind

Yep.. Had the same problem. Told the wife I was just popping round the block after the long awaited sun was beaming down..."are you sure" she said
"Looks like it might start raining" "pft.. What does she know?" I sniggered under my breath (out of ear shot obviously) 2mins up the road, and it bloody started hale stoneing!!!
Bloody know it all!:(

What a shame! It won't be long now till we can all enjoy some top down jaunts out. I for one can't bloody wait!

Mine looked really nice and clean at the weekend, but after a trip to Grantham on Tuesday afternoon on the A607 and tonight home from Saxilby chippy on Torksey back lane .................. well suffice it to say, I'll be washing it again tomorrow, if it's fine!

Me too, I added an Aero style boot spoiler last week with help from Antm72, plus some 108 wheels which will get a refurb at some point in the future.

Had a play around with the rear lights a few weeks ago, adding a right hand unit from a LHD car.

A few more plans in the pipeline.

I really like the spoiler, I have been looking for one, I was also reading with interest your rear light thread this morning, doing things differently really appeals to me, also love the auto roof.

That Gap-Tech system is better than the key operated BMW system to be honest. I can post you a link to the spoiler seller if you would like?
