Its going to be snowing around there up to lunchtime tomorrow and never going above -1. So if you can get out of going would be a wise move

Cheers Paul, tats the way I we leaning towards mate.

Tony.

I trust the word of someone who is actually there though Mike.

Tony.

Am just a few miles away Tony. Got to go past Rugby to get Home.
Roads currently look clear.
Forecast for this afternoon was snow and 40mph winds. Got the wind but little snow falling.
Currently no snow forecast tomorrow until 4pm then light snow. The problem is heavy snow forecast for overnight tonight until 5am tomorrow morning.

Having said that the forecast changes every hour.
What time do you have to be in Rugby?
Whereabouts in Rugby too. It can be a frustrating place to get across town.

It's Allerton Rd. Ian at the RMI Academy. Have to leave Newark at 7.00 to be there for 9.00.

Tony.

@t-tony I've just come back from Rugby. The A5 is clear enough but the road into rugby from the M6 is a bit snowy because of slow traffic and slippery. As where you are going is just off the M6 junction should be ok but be careful of the estate roads.
No help on getting from you to M1 though

Just home. All roads are passable.
Country roads in Leicestershire just tracks in the snow including sections of the A5.
Last couple of miles in Warwickshire much better - we’ll salt and clear.

Snowing but very fine at the moment.
Really depends what happens overnight.
When (and if) you come down the A46 expect a queue at the island north of Leicester. There will be a big queue in the left 2 lanes to get off the M1 at Jn 21. You’ll be going down to Jn 20. Right towards Lutterworth and then left after 200 yds. It’s then straight towards the M6 and on in to Rugby over the next couple of islands.
What car will you be in?

No idea what car mate, if I go I have to get to Newark for my lift.

Tony.

Listening to the news just now - every major route in Lincolnshire is closed.
It’s not worth putting yourself at risk just because of some training. If there are people going from all over many will have the same problems or worse.
If it’s not cancelled I would be amazed.

Tony I work 7 miles away from rugby, it's absolute madness, don't bother coming. Took me an hour and a half to travel 15 miles.

Are you mad considering going anywhere in the country at the minute, stay safe at home mate.

As I said earlier the Leicestershire roads along with Northamptonshire ones I used this evening were poor - even the A5. A’s soon as I crossed into Warwickshire they were clear even where snow was blowing across them.
Took me about an hour to do 30 miles.
