That's not good mate :( Ba****ds!

Really sorry to read this Paul, the same thing happened to me in 1992. Some local shitbags in Gainsborough broke into my business and stole both my tools and the young lad who worked for me. The robbing was continued by a company called McLarens from Lincoln who were the Insurers loss adjusters., they were little better than the scrotes who robbed the garage.
Hope you get either get your stuff replaced without much aggro or even the Police can get it back for you. Good luck.

Tony.

Scum everywhere, I hate todays society and its only getting worse, we moved out to the sticks 8 years ago, best thing we did and I don't think I could ever live in a town again.
Sorry to hear your bad news, we have the Liberal lefty's to thank for it.

I live beyond the sticks :hungry: that’s the problem.

Sorry to be negative, but it's not uncommon for them to come back and do the same again if they've had a good haul, counting on you replacing it all.

Think of how you can increase security.

If it's an outbuilding set up a simple siren alarm, one outside (they'll foam that one) and also one inside that they wont expect. Make it so loud that you'd probably struggle to stay in there if it's going off.

Not much more you can do other than steel bars over the doors and windows, a crowbar will open almost any UPVC window.

Big barn shed, they unscrewed the wall panel professionally, not a smash and grab.

I had 2 guys nick my A Frames off the car week before Xmas. Even got them on camera and still photos. Reported to the Police Still waiting for them to come and pick the footage up been 3 weeks now. Security will only be any good if it makes a loud noise and alerts you yourself as the Police are a waste of time. Put a couple of Banshee sounders in the shed or garage and if possible link it to the house alarm which can be done wireless so long as you have a spare zone then link the house alarm to your phone.

The Socco guys told me you need as much noise and light as possible. These scum do not like being lit up for recognition.

Tony.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Paul - hope you get back to normality soon!!

You can get 150 db alarms, that's far in excess of what anybody would be able to withstand especially when inside.

Paul sorry to hear this, we were broken into earlier this year ,it makes me sick what the scum bags do ,we're you broken in to in Germany or back in the uk Paul?
Jimmy.

:( Sh*tty thing to happen...the guys are right about the noise and light.. They don't seem to be fazed by cctv, hoodies and scarf covered faces.

Oops so sorry to hear that Paul,as you know I'm literally a stones throw away mate.
Jimmy

Bastards! I hate to read stuff like this. Proper full on low life scum, i have a very good friend high up in the police and she was talking to us the other week saying that cut backs are that tight now burglaries are now below call out level, so unless someone is physically badly assaulted or worse it's rare you will see a copper, you will just be given a crime number for insurance reasons. This isnt obviously every case but @billz waiting on footage being collected is just a typical example now.

I have a "Beware Mines" sign in my garage (liberated from the Falkland Islands). Seems to do the trick.:)

I'm really sorry to hear this :(
Hopefully the thieves will get caught :)
They said what goes around comes around........
Hopefully it will happen to them one day :)
