Water around the fuel filler

I used the cartridge from a cheap biro the other day - had the exact size - Now serves multple purposes in the car o_O (drain pipe, writing, pointing on a map, etc. ) and who doesn't normally have a biro in the car.... :writing:
I keep my biro next to my pipe!

I recently replaced a perished rubber surround with a used but good condition one. Unfortunately when removing it the rubber tube snapped off so I was left with a tube that I could not stretch and connect to new one. I could not trace how to access the route of drain tube so have temporary plugged the drain hole. Does anyone know the routing and how to access the whole length of drain tube? Perhaps then I could replace with longer length of new tube and connect to the surround. Thanks.

Remove the rear wheel arch liner and you can see where it is. The flap locking pin on my Z3 was broken and I had to remove the arch liner to repair that.

Tony.

Thanks Tony I will take another look but I am sure that when I refurbished the sill and had the liner off on that side there was a body panel there. It is a narrow body 1.9 model, it does not have a locking cap. Not sure if that was the same as yours?

Mine was a 2000 2.0 so could be different?

Tony.
