When my Son Carl was growing up, we went through 9 washing machines.

Now, he's left home, and we have had the same washing machine for 5 years.

It just goes to prove.

Washing machines live longer with Carl gone :woot:
 
Ours doesn't because Shirl uses the fabric conditioner / colour catcher thingummy bobs, and the bloody things keep on getting through to the pump drain and blocking it and then you know what happens, TONY................:mad:

It's good to see your helping around the house - don't forget about the ironing!;)
 
Why to the ladies only thread ;)
Men should use a washing machine too ;)
Or can't men press the right buttons to get it going ;)
Every thing would come out shrunk or stretched =))
What would you all do without us ladies :whistle:
 
Try putting your Z carpets in the machine ;)
They come out lovely :)
Not too hot a wash tho =))

I seem to be able to push Shirls buttons sometimes Shelly, does that count? BTW when she was in Florida the other week I did manage to wash some of my work clothes without burning them.:ymdevil:

She had a bit to do but mainly admin re paying taxes over there from home ourselves (Shirl.xx) bless her and she brought me 2 more "Grumpy" tee shirts too. Do you think she's trying to tell me something.;)

I have a couple of responses to questions in this thread but Dad would lock me in the Room till summer!! By the way, I've always washed my own clothes as well as any items needing ironing. Figured Joan was working also, oh and I wanted it done properly!! JIM

And then the fight started about a week after we got married!

As how do you know the washing has to spin ;)
Most men don't know how to turn the machine on =))
 
I do, at the switch on the wall, after that I'm lost!
 
Think that's whet most men get too ;)
But saying that I don't know how to change oil on the car , do electrical jobs , etc etc ,:)
I can change a plug and light bulb tho ;)
So I'm quite a handy - lady =))
