Wanted

thanks Tony,
yes please.
There are a couple on ebay that I have found so far, Victoria-autoparts is a good one, they supply the paint in aerosol as a base colour which works for me as im using a uv resistant pvc covering instead of lacquer, its more hard wearing and wont chip and just gives a better finnish.
I am hoping the base will go further than a Halfords can of the same size, this would balance the cost back out again.

well how odd, Halfords no longer supply either Atlanta blue or hellrot red, will have to buy online and its more expensive:mad: topaz is ok though @Synclare
at the moment, but that too will eventually go out of stock.
after talking to them, apparently once the sales drop below a set point it is no longer re-stocked.
Thanks for heads up have just done an on-line enquiry and it tells me that still have BMW Bright Red in stock in my local store - not available for delivery only collect. May call in tomorrow and check if that is actually the case.

Very close as I said in an earlier comment I have used it on bumpers and sills and it blends in well.
Helrot translates as bright red . This is an extract from Halfords site
Halfords BMW 'Bright Red' car spray paint
The Halfords BMW 'Bright Red' car spray paint is an exact match for the BMW codes 314.

314 codes are Helrot

It makes me laugh when people sell their ‘Hell Red’ Z3s on eBay. It does indeed just mean bright.

For info an auto paint supplier will match a colour exactly and put it in a rattle can for a couple of quid more than you will pay in Halfords.
