Every day is a school day on here Mike, I appreciate the info mate. So how far down is the oil? Why are deserts so dry if water is "only" that far below the surface? I as k a lot of questions don't I?;)

going back to the VW issue, we've just had our 1.6tdi "modified" during a service and we now have a niticable flat spot between 1200 and 2000. It'll be going back!

Found a dead Libyan once in one of our water pits, obviously could not swim and obviously could not get out due to the plastic lining.
There were signs up in Arabic warning people not to swim in them.
