I've banned a few on a 1 by 1 basis ~ I think it needs @GazHyde to do a block delete

The SPAM Cleaner (what you have access to) option has to be used in this case as it's actually easier than using the admin control panel. The SC bans and deletes anything they post or send then reports the account name and associated IP address back to a blacklisting service most forums check new registrations against. Using the ACP I have to do 4 steps, rather than a couple of clicks. There were about 140 spam accounts created in the last 36 hours, and another 90 which got put in to manual activation due to looking dodgy. I'm currently copy/pasting each username in to the Member search, and using the SPAM cleaner. It's slow and miserable, just repetitive!

@NeRo - I think we are done now, I've SPAM cleaned 140 odd accounts I've identified and deleted the 89 accounts pending approval. Random IP addresses across the accounts as expected (Italy, US, Poland, UK) so nothing I can specifically block to stop it happening again. First time we've suffered from PM spam, so that's an awesome development. Hey ho!
