I'd like to spend 10 minutes in a room with the pair of them :mad:

He's only coming out with that now because he can no longer hold up the Chilcot report which is to be published
in December. He's probably been the one behind the length of time that reports taken to get out!!

Absolutely, Blair and Bush, what a pair. Sorry about the rant. :offtopic:

You have the Yanks sitting pretty, eating their box of chocolates, Canuck's collecting rusty cars, and we are left with the clean up job.

I think your all being one dimensional, it is a given that if you take one threat away, one more comes to the top of the pile, which after Saddam was Al Queda, now it is IS, after them it will be the people's front of judea, I think you need to ask your self what was the alternative? Look at Nazi Germany, we all say that was a good thing to do, but the fall out of that was the Cold War, east meets west, the Stazi, Russian subjugation etc the list goes on but we don't moan about that do we.

I am not a fan of Blair, to be honest I find it hard to get behind the people in politics these days as none of them have ever worked in the real world, and how can that be a basis for them to govern those that do? But Thatcher, Major and Blair stood up against tyranny, and they should be thanked, remember no plan ever survives first contact, and that is what we went to war with "a plan" not hind sight "a plan" whichever way you look at it, it was the right thing to do, we could never know what was actually going through the enemies mind, we can make guess, and guess what some of it will be wrong, but the majority was actually right, and these evil men are gone.

The trouble with human beings is, they always need someone to blame...They are fickle and change allegiance the moment the wind changes to always be on the side of popularity, no mater the moral obligation...

Yes I'm left handed, so what your saying is, my opinion is wrong because it is not the same as your opinion, I am surprised that someone in your line of work is not more pro Blair and Bush? That said, had we done nothing as a nation, what would life be like today, only being able to choose a date based on the colour of her eyes and if they point in the same direction...

Putin ?. If you do your home work on him you'll hopefully see that he is the real threat here, probably to USA first then us and the Germans. If you were trained in the KGB a few years ago you may just have an inkling what he's all about, Russia was a fairly stable country when he was doing his business as a spy but now the man is in charge he probably thinks Russia was too weak giving up East Germany. Hope I'm wrong but to him ISIS can be dealt with all in good time after he's got his own back on USA,etc. I see the problem as him being X KGB, and that is not good for the rest of the world believe me. Yes it does boil down to what's gone on before but it matters not whose to blame because this man has definitely got a score to settle and he now has the means and the power and guess what???? WE'VE LEFT THE DOOR OPEN. Roy.

About what? WMD that never existed? Try wiping your ass with your right hand.......:D
Of course they existed, just not when we went looking for them, why else would the guy run and hide if he was innocent, the worrying fact is where are they now...sorry I lied, I am right handed...:p

At the end of the day, decisions have to be made whether it's in your personal Life, business or politics. Most decisions are at best 30% - 70% accurate, they are based on "what we know", "what we think we know" and "what we don't know".

What we know, we know, so is fact, what we think we know is based some fact and How we believe it should be (our experiences), and what we don't know, we best guess. The big unknown is really what was that person thinking and doing, and bearing in mind he was deranged, it could have been all Magic Roundabout.

In the case WMD this was based on Intelligence gathered from the field, from people who may have been best guessing or were planted to provide mis- information. The question that arises though for us is "what if we don't act", ergo you err on the side of caution and act...
