Well @jue1 and I have had a cracking weekend with first time visitors to Grumpy Towers @Lee and @Shortie_gal.
Lee got in touch a couple of months back saying we should get together as we hadn't seen them since the Dutch cruise last June. It's always difficult when peeps live so far apart. Us near Mansfield and them in Basingstoke. I suggested this weekend as they could share celebrating my birthday. Unfortunately now that Jack is back from Uni we couldn't house them overnight so they stayed in a local hotel after being at ours for a takeaway and a good catch up.
Lee nicked me bloody seat!

Today we took them on a run out Jue and I set up last week on route to our favourite pub for dinner.

Lee had asked if we were close enough to go and see @t-tony, only 20 minutes from the dinner spot so off we went.
Thanks for seeing us at such short notice, always good to catch up.
And finally we finished off at the stables to bring Jues horse in. Lee led her in but I think it was the other way round! Tried for a pic but Shaza had dragged Lee into the stable before we could blink!

Big thanks to Lee and Sam coming so far to see us both. Jue and I have had a cracking couple of days playing truant, makes a lovely change turning your backs on the usual everyday tasks and just having a bit of fun. Of course I did all this while being completely Grumpy!
