Hi Pete, Swan is definitely OFF the list I'm sorry to say as Paul and Julie will be on their holiday. I will be trying to find a good substitute though. @Andy McDonnell you remember the place the four of us had the Pikey boys outing? The Rose and Crown at Upton.

Having been looking for alternative dining I have narrowed it down to these 3,

1. Rose and Crown. Upton (would include the old Rally route)
2. Mill Lodge across from the IBCC.
3. Woodcocks near to Lincoln.

I'll make some calls tomorrow and post some detail.

OK folks, I have talked to the staff at Woodcock's near Lincoln and I've decided to go there for lunch as it's on the way to Lincoln.

Meals are 2 for 1 and it's good food too.

More on the lunch, I asked to be there soon after 12.00 as that's when they start to serve lunch, told that was fine. So we need to leave The White Swan car park at 11.30 to be at Woodcocks in good time.

Lunch is 2 for 1 and with 5 choices of roast meats price is £12 - £15 (for two).

After visiting the IBCC we will call here for Ice Cream.
