Well that was a first for me today, a Zoom virtual meeting. The BMWCCNE had their 2nd virtual monthly meeting earlier today after they tried it last month with great success. It was quite a laugh really 9 of us altogether took part and lasted an hour and 15 mins. During the "meeting" we had chairman's updates on the calendar (not a lot happening there), car interior of the month (using photos shared during the meeting) won by Mike Dickenson and then a quiz on the BMW marque. The quiz joint winners were Mike Milbourne and Richard Parkinson, Mike Milbourne won Judges Choice as he knew what the origin of the BMW logo was, not the sky as seen through an aircraft propeller as most of us thought but the Bavarian State colours. Also we had a video tour of an immaculate E21 one of the members owns complete with service invoices from 1970s for first service - cost just over £5!!! Just 26K miles on the clock.
