Spot on Gary. I saw her at the NEC a few years ago and she was hilarious.

Very sad news, yet again.
 
I loved to watch her and would be in fits of laughter even if I had seen the same thing several times. Always wanted to see her live but whenever she had a show in this area it sold out so quickly that I never managed it. She was also a very good actress. Condolences to her family, a great loss.

Comedy is always subjective, but I grew up laughing hard at the stuff she wrote.

Agreed....there are things which have others rolling on the floor with laughter but leave me saying "is this supposed to be funny?". Each to their own.

I watched a fair amount of Victoria Wood's material on YouTube last night...haven't laughed so much in ages.
 
I have to say I was never a big fan but 62 is no age for anyone to leave this life.:(
