The catch pawl on my passenger door is very stiff when trying to move it by hand. This in turn makes the door quite stiff on opening and closing.
The drivers side one is so much easier.

I have tried some powder and liquid lubricants but they haven't made it noticeably easier. And I didn't think they would because it feels seriously stiff

Any other things I should try?

Or do I try and source a replacement?

Get the door card off and squirt some WD40 then lithium grease into the moving parts.
You could try removing the assembly to get better access, but that lower torx screw could be an issue, as it looks a bit 'chewed'. Someone has had a good go at that in the past, judging by the rust (they are galvanised).

Mine was similar, I applied ACF-50 and job done ✔ I use it to keep my mirrors free to turn in, both door locks and the boot lock.

I think door card off is the way to go.

Thanks Chris
