I love reading these posts, what a fantastic way to do things. Great to see another great car getting a proper make over and keeping it on the road for many years to come.

@Lee
Any chance you could pm me a link on where to get the front shocks please ?
Will need a couple for MOT in august.

Great work guys, oh, p.s. think you all need to have a holiday up in Scotland, dont forget your tools lol

Yeah, all the parts tend to come from GSF on Lee's trade account. He puts more parts through the Basingstoke depot than some local garages...

Another little update. The car is now 99% complete, we are waiting for the freshly painted bonnet to arrive.

Last weekends antics included: Handbrake adjustment, Roof clean & Tidy, Wheel clean and fit, Brake clean and paint, overall clean. Also had time to fit 4 new tyres.

She's really come together.

Interior has cleaned up really well

The body work on the front will be all fresh paint, the rear bumper has a couple of marks. But you cant complain for her age. Will be up for sale soon.

Hi @Lee
What's the milage please ? Any history?
Thanks.
The mileage is 140,000 at the moment. History I believe is part, will need to confirm this as my dad is holding all the paperwork.

That's a totally different looking Zed since I last saw her. Brilliant job lads she looks a treat and will be well sorted for the next custodian.

Nice Zed. My fave colour too :)

Well as Beemer colours go. My fave is actually Ford Purple Velvet (sorry about using a four letter word beginning with F)
