I'm delighted with the numbers we've got going to this and have slightly changed how the food will be organised rather than pooling our money...
I have family down there and have sourced a huge split barrel BBQ and charcoal so "I'll supply your heat, you supply your meat" and we'll get a good feed down us and possibly the occasional beverage! There are a number of shops in Brockenhurst which is about 10 mins from the campsite. This will keep things very simple.
We're staying at Roundhills campsite which is on Beauleiu Road, Brockenhurst, SO42 7QL. From memory it cost under 10 per head so it's cheap! On arrival it's a case of checking in and driving through the gate until you see a spot you fancy and you throw a tent up. Very informal and very convenient when you're looking for a flat place where the car doesn't scrape the ground!
Just a reminder that attendees will need to book their camping directly with the campsite which can be done online or over the phone. I won't be making a block booking for our group as there are no allocated pitches, it's a case of "turn up, tent up". I'll be arriving early (before midday) so just find me...now if only there was a way I can make myself easy to spot....
