Ok, Firstly, we did not get a mention regarding the stand. Not happy with who won but thats for another day.

Can I thank everybody for the help in sorting out the logistics and parking. Yes Macca @Mac Romans, and myself were a pain.. even had to get Trevor @Oldguysrule to help at one point. @GazHyde was off chasing cars.. we had I believe over 40 on the stand at the highest point. So a great day. Some photos from myself and well done to all the winners of Macs awards.

I have also included some candid shots of what this is all about. People out having fun and enjoying themselves. I hope everybody did as it makes all the work put into these events very worth while.

A few thoughts on the day now I'm home and about to collapse from the heat! Final tally was 45 Zeds, up from 39 last year and making us one of the bigger groups there.

First of all a huge thanks to @pgunter & @Mac Romans for the effort they put in to laying on what was clearly the best stand on the day - although we weren't quite the sort of thing the judge was awarding points for. We have probably the highest ratio of unmodified cars on stand of any of the BMW groups, and that didn't work well when the judge chose the stand with probably the highest ratio of modified cars. Not much more to be said for that really. Moving on, nothing to see.

Macca had provided trophies again for our own mini awards ceremony. Best Z3, Best Z4, Best OEM, Best Modified and Show & Shine. Provided a great opportunity for everyone to have a good look around the cars on stand to choose their favourites from the categories and a great ice breaker to chat with the other owners. @Twin Turbo, myself and the event organiser Ed judged the show and shine - something that is way harder to do than I thought when I agreed to it! I'm sure Macca will post up the final selection, as I've forgotten most of them already.

Definitely on the calendar for next year and we'll put on another cracking display as we have for the last 3 years. Awesome day out, thanks for coming and taking part! Hope all your sunburn eases soon

My s***'s custom!
Another brilliant VanityBMW show and another outstanding representation of the forum.

From the pre-event camp and BBQ (with honoured local guests) right through to the show itself it's been amazing.

Massive well done to the worthy winners of the club competition:

Best Z4 @Rally
Best Z3 @S54addict
Best modified car @Gremlin
Best OEM car the beautiful Sepang bronze Z4 W4 CLB (who's forum name I've completely forgotten )
And myself and @Beemer Boy were delighted to get the Show and Shine winners trophy.

A massive thank you to everyone for your efforts to be there with the cars looking their best and a special mention to @GazHyde and @pgunter for being outright legends in preparation and execution on the event.

Also thank you for everyone's patience as we shunted you round to get the stand laid out perfectly. Our stand looked fabulous and every single person at the show (except one) knew it was the best by a country mile...unfortunately the one who didn't was the *judge. But hey ho, we all know it a so does everyone else, besides it'll take more than that to to ruin our day!

*Individual failing to visit every stand OR making decisions based on potential future pecuniary advantage....allegedly, OR blind. =))

Well done to every one who attended and made the zroadster stand the greatest, looking at the pictures. Sad to hear it was judged by Ray Charles ;). To all the category winners :thumbsup:

Ok I know it's Monday, but I have only just got back from this fabulous weekend. Big thank you to all who helped organise and a really big thank you Helen and her husband for doing such a grand job with the BBQ.
I'm going to post some pics from this great weekend from a different angle.

Thanks for welcoming me onto the stand yesterday guys. I had a great day and enjoyed meeting some of the members and seeing some stunning zeds! Looking forward to seeing you guys again and meeting more of the forum members.

I took a load of photos but they're all too large to post here, so I'll have to find another way to share them.

If you drop the image resolution down that would help, somewhere less than 2000px wide would be ideal. We've been having aggro with large images despite setting the maximum image size to 15MB...
