MaybeJust gauging interest in organising the above.
Most likely some time in August or September this year.
The meeting point would be Donington park circuit, leaving at 10a.m for the first leg of 3.
Part one : Donington to Belvoir castle, approx one hour. 31 miles.
part two : Belvoir to East Langton (near Mkt Harborough). This stop will be at a garden centre with plenty of parking, w.c and a cafe.
Approx. one hour. 40 miles.
Part three : East Langton to Rutland water, Whitwell visitor centre. Again plenty of parking, but not free,w.c and cafe.
Approx. one hour. 26 miles.
With stops etc I reckon to allow around five to six hours in total.
The route has a good mix of country roads, some faster flowing roads and some lovely rural villages with buildings built with what looks like Cotswold stone.

Not a chance Tony there is no way Dave would attach anything to his car lolNo boot and roof rack then Pauline. A bit like when we go over to the villa with just cabin bags, it's fine, just all the c**p we bring home that causes our problems.

We may have to miss this one Steve, sorry to mess you about. Daughter getting married at the end of August and planning a holiday to follow, which limits our options for our September get away. If I can possibly work around your trip I will, but it will depend on what we can book at the time. Mind you we did a tour of the vale of Belvoir yesterday when I took a wrong turn going to the show there !
So we will have to be a maybe.
