Closer neighbours than you think, I was born in Brierley Hill, moved to Redfly Lane, Pensnett in 1966 and stayed there until we got married in 1983. There was a family in the next street named Beddard. I went to school with their two boys, Mark and Andrew. My family name is Oakley and I have relatives in Wollaston too but haven't seen or heard of them for years.
We moved to Cornwall 21yrs ago now but I'm still and always will be a Black Countryman, accent and all
