I modified my Aircon switch blank on my Z3 to accept a USB 3.0 socket so that I could use the USB function on my Kenwood CD radio. That has since expired and a new Kenwood has replaced it with USB socket on the front so this is now no longer required. The cable is 1m long and is easily long enough to reach up to the back of the radio area. Seems a shame to waste it, £15 with free postage within the mainland UK. I've found the USB socket tight with some USB keys so I have to press against the blank while removing the USB key otherwise it can pull the switch blank out, no big issue just something to be aware of.
